QuickStart Guide

We all know users come to websites like Journey of the Paws for one thing: Roleplay! As such, we pride ourselves by making a quickstart guide for our newcomers and members alike so that they can get what they came here for. Below are some easy points and tips to follow and guide you to the final of a characters entry post at Newcomers Nook.

1. Character Application
All characters need a character application before they can enter the roleplay. You'll need to fill it out in a fresh, new topic with the character name in the title and wait for a staff member to accept it. Applications should be accepted no later than 24 hours. If 24 hours have passed and the application has not been accepted, shoot a staff member a Private message with a link to your characters application and move on to step 2.

2. Post your Character Sheet - Biography
Once the application is submitted, its time to teach as about your character. You can use out Biography Template provided in the guide forum, or you can create your however you see fit. The more we know about your character, the better. All information must be easy to read but text and color. Biographies that may contain non usable art or are hard to read may be alerted via post on their biography. Errors must be corrected before beginning the RP. Staff will remove their post mentioning the errors when you're finished fixing them. Biographies are not "Accepted" but we do make sure all members are able to read and review them while roleplaying at any time without squinting or suffering from an obnoxiously bright blue. Note: Characters are Native, born in Vanora.

3. Begin in Roleplay
All members begin at Newcomers Nook. You can create a plot topic or join the Main Thread. Members must meet the Arch before they are placed in a rank. Characters may know each other by planned plots between users, or join as Aliens. Liquid time, ability to be in more that one thread at a time, is allowed. Feel free to tag Fell in a post when you are ready to meet her.
