Written Physical Description:

Joachim is not the huge wolf that most expect when they think of a guardian. In fact, he is slightly smaller than average. He holds himself proudly, knowing that the air of confidence makes him seem dominant. To him, winning any battle is just as much about perspective as it is combat. When it comes to fighting he is not perfect, as all his scars can attest, but he is no slouch and learns quickly from past mistakes. His eyes are pale orange with flecks of dark green. His pelt is thick, especially along his neck and shoulders; useful for avoiding damage when others try to bite him there however it does make him prone to overheating during summer. The coat is iron colored with lighter shades of slate along his chest and the backs of his legs.

Personality:

Ambition wars with conscience in this one. Joachim has always believed that the leader of a pack has to be the most brutal, the one willing to put aside their own feelings do whatever is necessary. He worries that if he cares too deeply for anyone he will never become a good leader. And that is his ultimate goal even if he has a lot of learning to do.

He considers himself daring and innovative, but others view him in a slightly different light. "Impetuous," was a term his family often used to describe him and his hairbrained ideas. Impulse strives to rule him and he struggles to fully think through his decisions before taking action. It helps when he has someone to talk through all the steps of his plans, but he isn't comfortable admitting that he is uncertain about anything.

Compassion is an emotion he has tried to tamp down, after all, emotions are only a roadblock on the path he wants to take through life. It does peek through though. Unexpectedly and often awkwardly he'll do little things to let his pack know he cares. Joachim is a loyal wolf; while he wants to be a leader he'd never consider a violent coup.
