Dead & Gone is Azure Wilds

An uneven set of footsteps echoed through the scorched paradise. Flakes of ash danced all around her like snow, but the setting was quite the opposite of the latter.

The scent of fire was embedded into her nostrils; what she had called home resembled the underworld that she once feared. It was like each step was bringing her one step closer to her worse fear, or a monster that would get Amatullah a run for her money.

It was under Fell’s direction that Amatullah would search for any wolves that were in dire need for shelter. Pack lands were scorched to crisps, and with the speed of each tree’s ignition, wolves of all packs scattered to shelter. If there was anyone needed aid or a new pack, they were certain to lend them service in exchange for loyalty.

Why she sent the only wolf with a limp was a mystery.

Amatullah continued her path, tail curled inwards in constant submission. The fae didn’t want to return to Fell empty handed, but the distance between her and safety intensified.

Vocals and a cough bellowed from the distance; Amatullah froze in her tracks, stricken with shock. Blood ran cold, but she had a job to do. The female pursued while calling: “Stay right there, I’m coming!”

Amatullah continued her path, tail curled inwards in constant submission. The fae didn’t want to return to Fell empty handed, but the distance between her and safety intensified. Especially with the hues of another staring into her soul; Amatullah halted and lowered herself into submission.

“I’m Amatullah, I’m here to help the lost. I have shelter. Food and herbs. I mean no harm.”

“Thank you, Roan,” Amatullah began softly, a light blush heating up her cheeks. “Are you hurt?”

The female began to step closer to the male, her body pressed near the ash in submission. She didn’t want the male to think she held a threat; with her leg, the lass held no chance against a brute like him. Curiosity and empathy tugged at the seams, so she dared to get closer.

“Azurite Valley,” Amatullah began softly while looking at him with fear yet curiosity, “I’m a Seeker, I specialize in aiding others,”
The female hoped this wouldn’t trigger a bad reaction with the brute: “My leader sent me to help others.. help you,”

The female finally rose to her full height, but still was towered by the brute. Fear ran through her veins; the female had not been so close to a male since her betrothal ceremony many years ago. A shiver traveled through her bones.

The female examined the male with interest, but fear was always present underneath all her current thoughts. Questions sparked, but dared not to test her luck by asking them.

Amatullah eyeballed Roan as he spoke with a quizzical expression plastered on her maw. He spoke about his lonesome and the luxury of having a pack must be for her. The air felt uneasy; the words he spouted felt fabricated. Amatullah rolled her eyes before turning her back and walk away, “I don’t help liars,”

She turned her nape to the side to take a look at the brute; Roan spoke once more yet there was no sense in realism behind them. She snorted and continued to walk away, tail swishing with sass. The female was near giving up her time with him; if he didn’t need help, she needed to move on.
